Go to where you have the game, open RenPy, open common. Find 00console.rpy. Edit with Notepad. Find config.console = False, and change it to config.console = True. Save the file. Open the game. In the game, hit Shift+o to open the developer's console to cheat. Look at Ibenk312's post for the cheat commands. After you've entered whichever ones you want to use, type Exit, and hit Enter, to return to the game.

I think I got the same error logs when I tried to click + drag&drop the Oil Spray from the Inventory to the shower curtains. In fact, to apply the Oil Spray, you need to wait until the option/action is prompted to you... e.g. once you have bought the Oil Spray, go to the bathroom (several times... I don't remember how many times exactly... maybe 2 or 3 days after buying the oil spray) and then you will have the option "spray oil on the curtains".

Hi I just got an exception on 0.08a-pc when trying to use Oil Spray. See attached. NB this was from starting a game from scratch today.
