About game
Rise of Corruption is a story-driven game where you play as a royal observer sent to assist a hero’s party after the Dark Lord’s defeat. However, hidden fragments of the Dark Lord’s power remain, giving you the opportunity to secretly claim that power and become something far more dangerous.
After the Dark Lord is defeated, the kingdom discovers that he concealed a portion of his power so that someone might one day find it and continue his legacy. You are sent by the king to accompany the hero’s party on their mission to locate this hidden power and ensure it does not fall into the wrong hands. Yet during the journey, you gain the chance to claim that power for yourself. Rather than focusing on combat, the game centers on manipulation and gradual corruption—slowly influencing the heroes, other characters, and eventually the entire world, watching as each step of corruption changes them until they are fully under your control.
