    That was one Reason but also the regular 1.8 for windows 8+ had a bug as the dev. stated on another site. He said, he tried to rush the release and made some mistakes.
    To make it clear: The version for windows 7 is still the same state than vers. 1.8 for windows 8+. But the dev. promised to release at least a bugfix if not the vers. 1.9 very soon.

    This Version (1.9) is for Windows 7 only! For Windows 8+ the latest "public" Version is 1.7 and for the devs Patreons there is a Version 1.8 already (early access).

    Face animations are kinda creepy, and its difficult to figure out how to get things moving along so I couldn't get anywhere.
